The CoolMan™ is designed to keep mobile personnel cool in hot conditions. The CoolMan™ utilizes unique technology, unlike the ice vests or gel pack vests used in the past. It uses a non-toxic, flame retardant, eutectic-gel technology computer matched with a front line insulation system. The modular cooling pack freezes in a common freezer and thaws with a constant surface temperature of 72F (22C) on one side and 60F (15C) on the other. This unique design allows wearer to adjust the vest for specific conditions. The vest features vented mesh construction and is field rechargeable in ice water.
